PURPOSE: This notice is issued to inform all vendors interested in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Contract Opportunities and related public announcements that effective November 8, 2019, vendors must go the FAA Contract Opportunities website for FAA procurement related announcements.
Announcements will no longer be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website
The FBO (FedBizOpps) transition to is scheduled for Nov. 8-11, 2019, and FAA contract opportunities
are not currently planned to transition to This is an interim notification and FAA anticipates resolution
of system compatibility issues to allow for publication to in the future.

BACKGROUND: The Integrated Award Environment (IAE) is a Presidential E-Government initiative managed by
the General Services Administration (GSA). The Integrated Award Environment manages 10 federal information technology systems
that enable searching for, applying for, and tracking federal awards as well as registration capabilities.
IAE is in the process of merging these ten "legacy" sites into one system-the System for Award Management (SAM).

Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) is an IAE legacy site that allows vendors to review
Federal Procurement Opportunities. GSA is planning to migrate FBO from the legacy site into the "Opportunities"
module in FAA is currently testing compatibility of procurement field entries with those required for beta.SAM
to assess potential transition and use of beta.SAM for announcement of FAA contract opportunities. In the interim, and as always,
